Energy–climate in island territories.

Scientific Project

The ENERGY-Lab project addresses key energy–climate challenges faced by tropical island territories. In connection with the islands of the Indian Ocean region, the unit develops research aimed at characterizing, forecasting, and optimizing renewable energy resources in a context of climate change.

This work contributes to strengthening the energy resilience of territories and supports their transition towards low-carbon systems, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals and regional energy pathways.
