The University of La Réunion is the parent institution of ENERGY-Lab (UR 4079). The laboratory is part of the Faculty of Science and Technology and conducts its research activities on the Moufia campus (Saint-Denis) and the Le Tampon campus.

The laboratory is a member of TEMERGIE and actively contributes to the renewable energy and energy transition cluster in Reunion Island.

The laboratory maintains a scientific collaboration with the PIMENT laboratory (Physics and Mathematical Engineering for Energy, Environment and Building) of the University of Reunion Island, through joint research projects.

The laboratory hosts a station of the BSRN (Baseline Surface Radiation Network), the world reference network for surface solar radiation measurements

INTEGRALE Ingénierie
The laboratory collaborates with INTEGRALE Ingénierie through the BACC LabCom, as well as via CIFRE partnerships and service contracts.
STRATAGEM974
The laboratory partners with STRATAGEM974 for the installation of meteorological measurement instruments and climate studies across the island.
SIDELEC
The laboratory partners with SIDELEC Réunion for studies on electrical grids in Non-Interconnected Zones (ZNI).
